Superior materials allow the horizontal tubes to radiate more heat than other, lesser models.
The distance between vertical tubes is only 10mm, greatly reducing the time needed to heat up an average room.

Product Information

The Manhattan Designer Radiator Collection has been carefully designed to be the centre of attention of any room; from a loft-style apartment to a modern maisonette. The beautifully polished chrome coating is three times thicker than that used on standard radiators and is finished with a special lacquer to prevent any damage caused by daily wear and tear.

Our towel rails and radiators are factory-tested to a pressure of 15 bar, more than double the pressure the majority of radiators are checked at. This rigorous testing ensures that our products have no weak points that could fail under pressure; an all-too common problem with many cheaper towel rails and radiators.

The Manhattan range of radiators can be hung from the wall or fixed to the floor; whichever you prefer. Each product comes with tough metal wall brackets that can take up to 50KG, more than adequate for mounting on any wall surface - even plasterboard!

We take the greatest of pride in these products, from the start of the manufacturing process right up to the moment they arrive at your door. We take special care to ensure that your products are properly packaged and that they reach you in good time and perfect condition.

Stringent quality control procedures are observed and nothing less than perfection is accepted at each and every step of the manufacturing process.

Our quality control agents personally inspect every radiator and towel rail to ensure they are free from defects or manufacturing faults, both during production and prior to packing.

Any products that do not meet our standards are rejected immediately.

Plating Treatment

To prolong its operational life, each radiator is treated with a three-step plating process.

First a layer of copper is applied to the low carbon steel base of the radiator. This layer of copper promotes the chemical bonding which is key to the whole process.

Next multiple layers of nickel are applied, forming an airtight barrier against corrosion and rust.

After that, three thick layers of chrome are added.

Finally, a film of special lacquer is applied to the radiator, which caps the process and completes the protective treatment.

This entire process results in a tougher, more resilient radiator, which easily passes the 'Fingerprint Challenge'.

The Fingerprint Challenge

This is a simple little test you can perform to see the quality of a chrome surface, and it can be done in seconds. All you have to do is touch the surface and leave a fingerprint.

On a high quality, thick chrome surface, the fingerprint will wipe off with little effort.

However on a chrome surface where the plating is thin or badly applied, the fingerprint will cause damage to the surface and leave a permanent mark.

Radiator Valves

There are two different types of radiator valve;

Angled
Straight

To know which type of valve you need, take a look at your radiator and note where the pipe entry points are positioned.

If your radiator's entry points are positioned horizontally, then you need angled valves.

If your radiator has vertical entry points, then whether you need angled or straight valves will depend on whether the points will go through your wall (angled) or your floor (straight).
